Written Consent Bill Still on Track

With the legislative session winding down, I was very happy to hear from Grits for Breakfast that the the bill requiring written consent for traffic stop searches has made it onto the calendar in the House for a vote. It has already passed the Senate. This is such a great bill, it still feels almost too good to be true, so I'm not celebrating just yet. It still must pass the House and get signed by the Governor.
